Rosy layer

The fact that their opponents happen to be the struggling Deccan Chargers, placed seventh in the points table, will give Tendulkar's team all the more confidence.

However, it is the players alone who understand that beneath this very rosy layer lies the basic ingredient of Twenty20's finicky format that can never be relied on. As most of them readily accept that any team can cause an upset or throw a surprise on any given day. Chargers certainly have the arsenal to do so.
