Rosegirl's little report. But are there any grammar errors?

Hi guys! Emotion: smile

I have to write a report for my english lesson and I finished writing it, but im not sure if I made any grammar errors, because english is not my first language. Emotion: surprise

Would anyone be so kind to give it a quick look, please? =)

1. Heading
To: The Town Council of Tartu
From: Susanne
Date: 25.04.11
Subject: The <object X> in Tartu

2. General Description
The purpose of this report is to study the <object X> in Tartu, a small university town in the south of Estonia.

3. List of good points
There are numerous positive things.

a) Almost all of the main roads that surround the town are excellent. The newly built roads are safe and well-organized, which helps the local economy as well as making long-distance trips go a lot more smoothly.

b) There are quite a few bicycle tracks in the outskirts of the town. This encourages people to walk or use bicycles instead of cars, promotes physical exercise and reduces air pollution as well.

c) There is an efficient bus service that runs from the town centre to nearly all parts of the town. The recently acquired buses are cleaner, faster and cause considerably less pollution than the old ones. Furthermore, there are discounts for students, people with disabilities and for old age pensioners.

4. List of bad points
Although, I find these things disappointing:

a) Some of the roads, especially those in the suburban areas, are getting old and have a lot of cracks, which causes damage to all of the cars and buses that pass by. Some roads simply can’t handle all the traffic at rush-hour times and therefore can’t prevent traffic jams from occurring.

b) In some parts of the town, there aren’t any bicycle tracks at all. And in other parts of the town they are badly damaged. Because of this, many people choose to drive a car, instead of walking or taking a bike, therefore causing more air pollution and traffic congestion.

c) Buses are often late or arrive too early, thus making planned trips somewhat difficult and causing annoyance. Bus fares are a bit expensive, which sometimes discourages people from using public transport altogether.

5. Conclusion
To sum up, on the one hand the <object X> in Tartu is more than adequate, but on the other hand, the town councils need to repair the decaying roads and consider improving the bicycle tracks and the bus schedule.

Hi

It's really good - the following are only slight points...

At (4) you say "Although" but I would say "However". The word "Although" usually connects two ideas directly; but "However" is used to introduce a new idea - which I think is what you want here -

"I am quite happy with the transport, although some people might disagree."

vs

"The transport is
