"Romany"

Why do people often use the word "romany" in the description, e.g. by E*ay ("romany dress", "romany coat")? Does it mean the same like "gipsy" or does it also mean "romantic"? I've found only the meaning "gipsy" in the dictionary. I just wonder, that the clothes on the pictures don't look "gipsy". Thank you!
