roll

Hi everybody!

Does anyone know what is one stale rollin the context of ingredients for a Spatzle noodles recipe?

Sorry for this stupid question, I just can't find what kind of roll is it, a roll of what?

Thank you

A roll is an individual "loaf" of bread, and "stale" means "old and dry", exactly the contrary of "fresh". Does it fit into your context? )

Hi Pieanne,

I can't believe I didn't realize it is bread! But isn't roll a smaller bread, like a bun?

I'm not back to cooking, it's for my boyfriend's mother. One of the disadvantages of having translated a cookbook is that one has to translate all the recipes for all the fiends, relatives, acquaintances, and their relatives, too. [bah]

Thank you Pieanne

Don't worry, I chek the spelling before I give them my translatations.Emotion: smile
