rocketing?

Hi
Please tell me if this is correct.
His rocketing out swinger (cricket) left me clueless as to how it tumbled the middle stump.

Top answer

"outswinger" is one word. I think that "knocked over" or "knocked out" would be better than "tumbled".

For anyone with no particular interest in cricket, this is a bunch of gibberish words with no meanings. That's just how I see it.

Well, it does make sense in the context of cricket!

rocketing - moving very, very fast.

out-swinger - refers to the direction in which the ball was moving.
