Rock pools/slipping the odd bolder in my pocket

Hello everybody!

In the following sentence, what do "rock pools" and "slipping the odd bolder in my pocket" mean?

"I enjoy playing in rock pools slipping the odd bolder in my pocket and just relaxing on the beach."

So far, I have found:

Rock pools are natural aquariums left behind by the tide. They allow us to see what lives in the sea...

To slip something into own pocket...
