Robot footballer

Two robot footballers were moving up and down trying to put the ball in the other one’s goal, like their teammates act as. Although the referee was unlikely to show the red card for rude language, the game followed the same rules as the real thing.

The competition was held at and it lasted for three days. Most of the robots were made by the students. It is a fusion of sports and advanced technology. One of the game's hosts, Zhang Hua, said that such competitions were good for technological development.

In fact, the study of robotics has become increasingly popular in many Chinese universities. This makes many students to successfully take part in a number of international robot competitions. Li Huaming is a postgraduate student. He is preparing for a coming robot competition in .

"Each of the 7 team members is good at certain areas. We started this project last September and have been working hard on it ever since."

Liu Huaming says the technology developed in these inventions is already used in industry and will someday be a part of everyday life.
