Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption

Hi,

I don't quite get it what the title of the book means. We are so familiar with the movie and when I turned to the novel, the title turns out to be "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption". The poster of Rita was the first hung on Andy's wall. Any implied meaning here? I would love to hear about your ideas.

Thanks!

I think Rita's character was sort of Andy's inspiration to escape - she helped him morally and made him not give up!... That's only my own opinion though.
