Right word for making two companies compete for a deal
This is the scenario.
Our company want two vendors to compete on a deal. So we create groups inside our company and take sides to create a false impression on the vendors that some from our company are on their side. Then leak the prices of one vendor to the other so the other vendor quotes a lower price and so on.
Now, what phrase/word can be used to describe this?
