right preposition - Why?

They argue that the stress encountered in the or our dialy lives is not only good for us, but essencial to survival. - I wrote ours, but have doubts.

Apparently, research shows that people can create conditions of stress for it by doing exiting and risky sports or looking for challenges, cope much better with life´s problems. - Can I write this sentence like this ?

Activities of this type as been shown to create a lot of emotion, people may actually cry or feel extremely uncomfortable. But there is a point on wich they realise they have succeeded and know that it was a positive experience.

Can I writte my text like above, or should I use other propositions?

Thanks.
