Right on or Right at?

Where we lived, there was almost everything we needed right on our doorstep.'

Is this correct or would you say 'right at'?

Where I live (Scotland), I'm sure we use 'right on' more.

In American English, I hear "right at our doorstep."

It seems that way. But it hear both in conversations. That said, I would take the liberty to edit the sentence to make it sound more natural. Our neighborhood has everything we need at the doorstep.

"At our doorstep", or " At the doorstep" both are fine. That wasn't the part that I felt could be improved The reason I used " the" is because I edited the OP sentence from "where we live " to " Our neighborhood has everything we need ...." So avoid using " our " twice, I used the definite article,
