Right about writing

Are these correct:

1) You were right about writing a letter to the mayor. It was a mistake. I regret doing it.
(I was the one who wanted to write the letter. You thought it was a mistake. I wrote it and fount out that it was indeed a mistake.)

2) I was right about taking John to Italy. His parents took him there and he loved it.
(I thought that John's parents should take him to Italy and I was right. His parents took him there and he loved it.)

3) You are right about taking Tim to a doctor. That's what you ought to do.
(You think you should take Tim to a doctor, and you are right.)
