Riders or Riders'

Hi there,
Someone just asked me if "Riders Lodge" or "Riders' Lodge" is correct.
For me, the first one sounds like Riders is a name: "Riders - The Lodge".
The second one uses a "possessive apostrophe" and it sounds like
"The lodge of the riders".

Am I right to assume both would work, but the meaning of the name changes?
If so, which one do you prefer?

Thanks a lot for your help.
