ride a bike to school

Hi,

Is it OK to say/write 'I ride on my bike to school'? Or should it only be 'I ride my bike to school'?

By the way is it OK to write 'I got to school at eight o'clock. (and next sentence after that) I usually ride my bike to school.'?

Also 'I start school at nine o'clock' Is it ok?
