Five men, who were buddies in high school, are attending a class reunion. They are Mr. Day, Mr. Evans, Mr. Louis, Mr. Pitts, and Mr. Traverse, whose occupations are a doctor, electrician, lawyer, plumber, and teacher. By coincidence, they live in the cities of Dayton, Evansville, Louisville, Pittsburg, and Traverse City, but no man lives in the city having a name similar to his, nor does the name of his occupation have the same initial as his name or the name of the city in which he lives. In addition, the following facts are known:
  1. Mr. Pitts lives in Traverse City and is neither a lawyer nor an electrician.
  2. Mr. Day is not a resident of Evansville, nor is Mr. Traverse, who is not a lawyer or a doctor.
  3. Mr. Evans is neither a lawyer nor a doctor, nor does he live in Louisville or Pittsburg.
  4. The teacher does not live in Dayton.
