17 Minutes to get across the path before path is overtaken by flood water arrive Becky= 10 Minutes to get across once Jack= 5 Minutes to get across once Jill= 2 Minutes to get across once Bill = 1 Minute to get across once1 Lantern to share among the group Lantern illuminates 2 individuals at a time Need the Lantern to illuminate all individuals to cross the path as anymore would cause the chance for person to fall off path and die making a max of two people at a time Must account for crossing and return times People are safe in the dark not on the bridge No hacks, cheats, super powers, miracles, divine intervention, super hero intervention or funny business, there is one logical way to accomplish the goal How can all of you get across safely before the flood waters arrive!!!
