Riddle. Please help !!

There was 2 brothers 500 yrs ago both live with there mum.. 1 blind and 1 deaf/mute... deaf/mute guy moves away out of town and blind lives with his mum still... 3weeks later mum died... how does the blind brother tell the deaf/mute brother mum died
