I have a couple of questions about the following words/or expressions. I looked up the dictionary but still the meaning is not clear to me.( please explain to me the bolded expressions)

1. Computers are considered a rich source and are everywhere.

2. But those possibilites are become greater as kids get older, particulalry at the secondary level, and at the college level.
