Nursery rhymes are rhyming/rhymed words that are easy to memorize.

Hi,

Do both rhyming and rhymed fit in the above and mean about the same? If not, can you tell me why? Thanks.

Thanks, Rover.

It does help a lot! But why aren't they "rhymed words?" Isn't rhymed words" correct?

This is better:

Nursery rhymes contain rhyming/rhymed words that are easy to memorize.

'Rhyming' is more usual, I suppose, but I see nothing wrong with 'rhymed': adjective: having corresponding sounds especially terminal sounds ("Rhymed verse")
