I have to complete the sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence, using the words given. Could someone correct this sentence?
THE POLICE HAVE PULLED IN FIVE MEN WHOM THEY THINK ARE DRUG DEALERS. suspected The police have pulled in five men whom they have suspected are drug dealers.
Do I have to use ARE in the sentence above ? Is it possible to replace it for WERE?
Thanks in advance.
