Revising Sentences

I need help revising these sentences by revising it gramatically and the vocab avoiding all improvisations.
  1. The idea that a person is sculpted into the person they may become by external forces apparent as a child is a main belief among many different people, the main force is the values, beliefs, traditions and thoughts of an individual's family and life behind closed doors in the home.
2. This could also be the author inducing another moral on his audience: a thing of beauty can cause harm too individuals, especially children, tend to generalize the more beautiful things in life to be good, when in reality it can be quite the opposite.

3. Authors use archetypes of characters as a means to quickly and efficiently portray common thematic styles to their audience.
