The graph below gives information about international tourist arrivals in five countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram provided indicates statistics on global travellers arrived in five nations over the period from 1995 to 2010.

It can be seen from the chart that the quantity of tourists travelling to France remarkably increased while that of others minimally rose during the time shown.

It was observed that in 1995-2000 period, there was a moderate upturn of approximately 11 million in the number of visitors to USA, whereas in France, the figure surged from roughly 30 to 65 million. Other three countries, in terms of quantity of tourists, tended to go up, with slight rises over the period indicated. The next five years saw a modest growth in all figures. From that time onwards, the figure for France considerably increased and reached its peak at merely 80 million. Different from the last decade, Malaysia’s quantity of visitors made a steady increase to the final figure of around 45 million.

As are illustrated in the graph, USA’s figure was negatively correlated . Its upward trend was steadily broken and the quantity of tourists reduced markedly,after which it reached France’s highest point at 80 million.
