Review on or of something

(1) Mr. Brown will do a major review on Chapters One and Two with his students before the final exam.

(2) Ms. Taylor will do a major review on fractions to prepare her students for the next test.

Some of my non-native English speaking friends and I think "on" is correct because it means "based on" the subject. But, my other friends think "of" sounds better.

Which preposition is correct? Thanks a lot.
