I am going to see this notice out to residents, but I am not sure if it is well written. A few bike thefts have taken place in the development. This is to give the residents heads up, in case they succeed on their next attempt. Also, I am not sure if the word ''unusual occurence" reads well in the last paragraph.
Notice
There was an attempted bike theft on Thursday 16th July at 04:00 am. We believe that the sculprit jumped over the construction site onto the courtyard and made his way to the bike shed. He tried to take out the wooden frames with a screw driver, unfortunately, he did not succeed.
The strange noise from the bike shed woke one of the resident up. He looked through the window and saw the sculprit on the act. The resident shouted at him, and he flew the scene.
The incident has been reported to the police. Also, the cctv footage is being reviewed and will be passed on to the police if required.
Please ensure that you keep a record of your bike number. This is can be found on its frame for an unusual occurrence.
