The chart represents the outcomes to observe about people’s tea and coffee buying and drinking routine in five Australian cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart).
Overall, the highest percentages of purchasers were for coffee and tea bought in coffee stores, followed by instant coffee, and then fresh coffee in last four weeks.
Looking first at consumers of coffee and tea at cafés, the highest proportion was in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, which are recorded between 60 to 65 percent. In Brisbane, there is a little over than 55 percent which is followed by them. Adelaide is the only country who is under 50 percent in this category.
Turning to instant coffee, Brisbane and Hobart had the highest percent of residents, which is 53 and 54 percent. Adelaide was the next with 50 percentage, and then Sydney and Melbourne had the lowest percentage which is a little over 45% each.
Finally, the highest proportion of fresh coffee consumers in Sydney and Melbourne, which is approximately 45%. Hobart followed with about 40%, and then Adelaide and Brisbane which has the lowest approximately 35%.
