The given table demonstrates the number of five different categories of moles of transportation was utilized by Australians in 2010,2012 and 2014. Overall, it is apparent that all kinds of vehicles experienced an upward trend in the period and the major vehicles are used for passengers. In addition, the most alteration was witnessed in that of motorcycles.
In terms of passenger vehicles, its value stood at 118000000 in the starting years. Then this figure increased steadily to 12700000 and 13000000 in 2012,2014, respectively. Undergoing a similar trend, a gradual rise was seen in the number of commercial vehicles. This figure rose by 400000 from 2300000 to 2700000 over the period. Additionally, the change in the number of commercial vehicles was 17,4%, higher approximately 7% than that of passenger vehicles.
In comparison with motorcycles, its figure registered at 540000 in 2010, followed by a slight growth to 680000 and 709000 in 2012 and 2014, for the former and the latter. Besides, the figure for heavy trucks in 2012 was 6000 higher than that in 384000. The change of heavy trucks was 8.3 %, which was a quarter compared with that of mobiles. Light trucks were the most minor vehicles in Australia, although its alteration was 23,5%, after the number of light trucks.
