Review my cover letter

Hello this is my cover letter and I will send it with my application for applying in a summer internship, please I need someone to review it and give me some advice.

Dear Mr. *****,

I am writing to apply for the summer student program which is organized by ***** in the Mechanical Engineering domain.

I am thrilled to apply in ***** where immense of scientific discoveries are created to answer my most complex questions about the universe secrets and ****** is not only considered an international organization,it is also a homeland for the experts and the scientists from all over the world who can work creatively and for the engineers who can develop, build and test high precision machines helping them conducting their experiments successfully.

Currently, I am a fourth-year student in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Cairo University, I have been consistently at the top of my class of 50 smart students, with a GPA of 3.8/4, I have had the privilege of working in several international racing teams such as SHELL Eco-Marathon and ASME Human Powered Vehicle Cairo University Racing Team and my major roles as follows:

• Designing high precision systems in the vehicle dynamics using CAD, analyzing their performance using ANSYS mechanical and testing them using several mechanical tests
• Sharing expertise and knowledge with the new team members through the discussion sessions and the workshops.

Last summer, I worked as Mechanical Engineering designer-Intern in AMSORT Company in Poland, I served in the construction department for the assembling processes of the different conveyor systems. Along with the mechatronics engineers we were analyzing the performance of the conveyor systems using a company software.

I have had a great deal in using MATLAB and C++ as I have made several projects using them. I succeed with my team to get the first place among our colleagues in solving the money change problem in our city using MATLAB.

I am over the moon with participating in this amazing program which will increase my passion towards the fundamental structure of the universe and will push me to gather the knowledge and the experience from the brilliants experts and scientists in the Engineering and the particle physics and from the cutting edge technology in the ***** facilities and its workshops.
