I have given a lot of thought to how I would be able to write the best motivational letter possible. I hope that my words are truly enough to express how badly I want to be readmitted to the University of Western Cape.
In 2011 I received the best news, I was accepted at UWC as a B.Sc. Physiotherapy student. In 2012 I started my journey with UWC as a full time student, getting to know new people, having the real student life and enjoying the course. In my first semester I did really well. I enjoyed studying, having only the best influences pushing me through. When the second semester started I became someone that I didn’t know. I dropped out of the course to start working and earning money, thinking it was the way to start my life. All of the friends did it so why could I not do it as well , not knowing how privileged I was for being accepted , for having the opportunity to be able to study , to better myself and to have an amazing future. Till this day I regret my decision of not continuing the course.
I started working, earning a minimal salary as a receptionist, worked my way into the medical field being a medical receptionist. I enjoy what I do, but I got older, wiser, responsible and having insight. Starting to think about my future and where I would like to be some day. My dream is to become the physiotherapist everyone talks about, the student UWC can be proud of. I want UWC to be able to say yes, she did study with us and yes we are proud to say. I want to be the student everyone can look up to. I want to be the student to inspire other, for them to realise how privileged they are to be there.
I would do just about anything to be readmitted. I want to start my studies again and even though I made mistakes , each mistake had a lesson and with these lessons I’ve learned , I will be able to help my fellow students and also encourage them to do their utmost best. There is nothing more that I want than to be able to study and succeed to the best of my abilities.
So, I ask you with all my heart and soul to consider me to be readmitted. I can assure you, promise you that I will be your best student, make my family proud, but most important, fulfil my dream and make it reality
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter
