Review ielts writing task 2

It is assumed by some experts that studying a forein language at primary school brings more benefits to students rather than secondary school. Despite some obvious disadvantages of this viewpoint, from my perspective, I personally believe that these are outweighed by the advantages.

On the one hand, there are two primary drawbacks when children start to learn a foreign language at primary school. The first disadvantage is learning a language means they have to absorb a large quantity of new and hard information. Gradually, this can cause academic stress and day by day leads to a burden for them. An accompanying drawback is children are hindered fully mature when their playtime is reduced. In the last few decades, many unexpected accidents of children happening all over the world due to stress can perfectly exemplify these drawbacks.

On the other hand, despite all the drawbacks mentioned above, I strongly believe that the benefits of studying foreign language at primary school are far more beneficial than at secondary school. Firstly, it is totally demonstrated that the younger, the easier to absorb new knowledge, especially in aspects of languages. Secondly, starting studying from primary school also brings back plenty of opportunities: more time to spend on, more environment to practice,... Moreover, these precious chances partly train children to be more flexible and creative with brand-new information when they are still young, which also forms a bond in life for them.

In conclusion, I would like to predicate that the advantages of starting to learn foreign language at primary school significantly overtake the disadvantages of it.
