Review ielts writing task 1

The two maps sketch out the layout of an industrial area in the town of Norbiton at present and its projected renovation in the future.

As an overall trend, this area is expected to be changed and developed to offer people more possibilities and amenities such as accommodation, school, playground and shops.

At this moment, this industrial region just simply has a roundabout and some factories along it. In the future, this roundabout will be still at the same location, with the expansion of two new ways, to the north and northwest respectively. Noticeably, all the plants in this town will be demolished and replaced by housings. The river which is on top of the illustration is expected to be crossed by a new-build bridge, which will pave the way to a new accommodation.

In addition, there are emergence of shops and a medical center surrounding the lower half of the roundabout. Along the vertical path in the middle of the town, it is forecasted that a playground will be located in the back between two accommodations. Furthermore, an educational institution projected to be placed at the end of this road.
