I am planning to apply for kgs scholarship and I wrote my personal statement: can you help me, how can I make ps better:

the personal statement should include:

Motivation with which you apply for this program

Your educational and work experience in relation to kgs

reasons for studying in Korea

Any other aspects of your background and interests which may help us evaluate your aptitude and passion for graduate study or research.

I am from Nepal and belong to a lower middle-class family. I have two brothers and three sisters. Furthermore, I am the youngest in my family. Being the youngest in my family, it turns to be privileged for me. My family and brothers help me for higher study. I studied in a government school. I am one of the brightest students in my school. Due to my family situation, I cannot give much time to my study, and I had to help my father and mother with their work. Both my father and mother are farmers. The life of farmers in my location is miserable, they cannot sustain their life from what they produce. From my childhood, I am passionate about electricity and different electrical instruments like motors, generators, and the equipment which uses electrical appliances. I used to spend lots of time in thinking about how electricity comes to our home and how it is produced. I had made my mind to study electrical engineering at university. Being from an engineering background, I am much interested in technology and we all people are witness of technological advancement in Korea. Korea is the destination for innovation and technology. We all know there is lots of big company like Samsung, Panasonic, and LG, working in these companies is like my dream comes true. The KGSP scholarship provides me this opportunity, so I am motivated to apply for this scholarship.

I completed my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Tribhuvan University, which is the oldest and top-ranked University of Nepal. I got a full scholarship for my undergraduate degree. I passed my undergraduate degree having an average of 73.45 percentages. In the course of four years of degrees, I engaged in many works and did projects related to the field of study. I had worked as a project manager for the electrical engineering student's society of my college. The electrical engineering student's society does provide different training and organizes different programs for electrical engineering students to improve their skills and knowledge in the electrical engineering sector. In my tenure as project manager, I was involved in many projects and help my juniors. Our society organized MATLAB, Etap, and AutoCAD training for junior students. I am interested in programming after studying c and c++ in my syllabus, and I learn programming languages like python and JavaScript from YouTube videos and Google. I am also interested in web development and I learned HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap in my spare time. I did my final year project entitle "To analyze the effect of distributed generation on the radial distribution system and find out the optimal relay coordination using Genetic Algorithm." From this project, I learn about distributed generation effects on the distribution system and how to make the system reliable after penetration of the distributed system. Relay coordination is a difficult task in the power system and learning about it, is the commendable job I did in my bachelor's degree.

I have chosen South Korea for several reasons. The main reason is, Korean government provides a scholarship for Nepalese students. Besides, Korea has the top-ranked universities in the world, and the education system and quality are the best. My country Nepal shares some history in economic growth with Korea. But presently, Korea has leaped in bounds of accelerated economic development, and that it is an inspiration for my country. I want to pursue a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Seoul National University. I feel this is the best university that will help to sharpen my skills and career in the electrical engineering sector. Most of the Korean university provides internship and that helps to broaden my career aspects too. I truly believe studying in Korea gives me world-class skills and knowledge in my field and helps me find a dream job.
