Revert

Is it okay to use revert with respect to a person? I know we can say reverted to this subject etc., But is also ok to say: I reverted to her.

thanks,
May

By revert, I mean 'turn my attention back to her'. Such as: I didnt talk to her. I was talking to someone else. But soon i reverted to her.
