Revamped vs revised

Hi.. May I know the difference of the word "Revised" and "Revamped" ? Should I write Revised Documents or Revamped Documents ?

'Revamp' is slang. It implies more extensive and more fundamental changes,
eg major changes to structure, lay-out, design..

You should write "revised documents." Revamped should not be applied to papers, essays, etc. You make revisions on a paper, I am not familiar with revamped used in this way.
