Return back

Hi

Could you please tell me how the use of return back sounds to you? She is a native speaker of English (British)...and an educated one.

Thanks, Mr Tom.

You assume that her accent has been heavily influenced by Indian English/culture because she has spent almost all her life in India.

I agree with you that she has been influenced by Indian English and culture.

She seems to have a native-speaker level of English, but she doesn't sound like a Brit at all. It might be that her Indian accent becomes especially pronounced when she is in India addressing an Indian audience.
