Hi,

is this sentence grammatically correct?

" please kindly return back the documents signed and stamped"

Return back: send back ??

The word 'return' includes the idea of 'back'.

So, say 'return' or 'send back'.

Say either 'please' or 'kindly'.

So.. Return the documents includes the "back" OK.

But now I m confused.. I thought " kindly " means something different than "please" is it really a BIG mistake to write both?

And once again, I would omit 'please', because it makes the whole thing seem excessively polite to me.
