According to Swan's explanation of adjective order, adjectives should follow: opinion, size, age, shape, color, origin, material, noun As to the adjective "retro", which category would you say it comes under? When talking about clothes, I would say it comes under opinion, in the same vein as perhaps "stylish" but when talking about video games etc, i would say age. I.e the gameboy is a retro console. Could anyone clarify this for me? and perhaps give some example sentences which show the adjective in its correct position. Thanks in advance brad
