Retails Guide ... PLEASE HELP!

Hello I am looking for help about the use of an apostrophe in the following title, "Microsoft Xbox Retailers Guide". I just finished a university presentations course and used the above title. After the presentation the professor asked if he could look over my slides one more time. This presentation was done one month ago and today I got my final mark. He took off 50% of my final presentation because he believes there should be an apostrophe after the work Retailers'. It is now too late to go back and change my slides because the presentation is over but I was wondering if anyone could help me find a way to make the title acceptable. Is it possible for me to use the above title without an apostrophe, any help would be greatly appreciated because if I argue my case and the professor agrees my final presentation mark will go from 36% to 86%. Seems to me that one little apostrophe is worth too much in my mind but the professor makes the rules.

Hello Anon You could argue that the plural noun 'Retailers' is used attributively to modify 'Guide'. Cf. 'Parks Department'.

Cf. 'Parks Department'. It's the department that pertains to parks. Your guide is the guide that pertains to retailers.

Worth a try.
