Resume Correction

Some of my friend suggested me to removing the declaration line from my resume. he said it is no longer used in resumes these days.
If it is true or false ,please give me reply regarding it.

The line i used is 'i hereby declare that the above information is true to the best of my knowledge'

I as a pronoun is ALWAYS written in cap

Your friend may be right. Where I live, this line is not at all required in CVs.
