Resulted or results

Supporting this result, the regression model indicated that a 1-unit increase in variable A results in a 5% increase in support for variable B. This coefficient was not significant, p = 0.30, p < 0.05.

The sentence changes from past to present tense. Should 'results' be 'resulted'. Or is it OK?
