result

Hi,
Would you please explain the usage of result as a verb?
As I understand, and according to some examples I read (or I have read? which one? Emotion: smile ), "result" is never used as a passive verb. For instance, "The bad behavior will result." not "Will be resulted". I used to think that the second form is correct. But now! I don't know. What I am asking for is that I want to understand the correct usages of "result" as a verb.
I would appreciate it if you could give me a comprehensive explanation, so that I could use that correctly, everywhere. Emotion: smile
Thanks.
