Restrictive or restricted

Hi

Could you please tell me if the following dialogue is natural? Any suggestions are welcome.

[A (writer) student and his friend]

A-     My study desk is placed along the wall in my room and I have to sit at the desk facing the wall. I hate it.
B-      Why?
A-     Because sitting facing the wall makes the view restrictive. It literally kills your creativity.

Thanks,

Tom
