Restaurant

We just finished eating at the restaurant my friend introduced to me. I say:

Thanks for bringing me to this restaurant. Or

Thanks for taking me to this restaurant.

Are both useable and which is the more appropriate?

Thanks!

There must be a million different ways to word this, why don't you use the word you originally used and say "Thank you for introducing me to this restaurant?"

Thanks Doug. I've used the introduced one way to many times, so decided to ask the forum for some other options.

My gut feeling is thank you for bringing me is the better way

No, I think that's perfectly acceptable.

Yes, Doug, I know it's acceptable, but it's not the question I'm asking about. Thanks again for your help.
