Rest

Would "I need to rest with you" be correct?

I can't think why it would not be true. I was going to use it in a poem. Let me explain the meaning and see if it makes sense. A is really tired and so is B but to be able to rest, they need to be next to each other, to recover strength, like in one of those cartoons. Did I get my meaning across?
