Responsible stewardship

Hi

My brand of spirituality is pretty straightforward; it’s just a matter of living
as true as I can to the basic principles that run throughout
all the wisdom traditions: kindness, mercy, alleviating of
suffering, and responsible stewardship.

Does it mean something like "responsible conduct/behavior"?
