Responsible for/over

Hi, when I looked it up in the dictionary, only "responsible for" was shown but in news articles, I saw "responsible over", so is there a meaning difference or only one is acceptable? Please help me.Thanks a lot in advance to everyone.

In my experience, "I have responsibility over X" is also used, but I've never heard "I am responsible over X."

I don't believe "over" is as "acceptable" as "for."
