Responsibilities for healthcare

when it comes to the matter of whether healthy lifestyles should be personal control or it ought to be determined by the government. Some people say that each person should have responsibilities for serving their own health, while others claim that this is the charge of the government. In my opinion, both the individuals and the state are involved in this case.
On one hand, there is no doubt that each individual should take care of their health on their own. Firstly, It is free for people to choose what to eat and drink, which means, people, depending on their preferences and maximise their well-being by making their own choices in foods and beverage. If a person is a big fruit eater, he will eat a plenty of fruits every day and even several times per day. Secondly, many chronic diseases are related to poor lifestyles or unhealthy habits so people should improve their awareness of their role in health. That having a balanced diet which provides a variety of flavour and vital nutrients could help people to build up resistance to diseases.
On the other hand, spending on health should be a government priority. People have to pay tax for the government each year so they deserve to get necessary public services in healthcare like health insurance. In addition, nowadays, people are very busy with their work, they may find no time to make the meals by themselves, so they use a lot of junk foods which are higher in sugar and salt is very harmful to their health and can trigger many diseases such as obesity and heart attack. As a consequence, this could increase the burden and pressure on hospitals and the government have to spend an outstanding contribution to health treatment, these may have negative impacts on the budget of the economy.
In conclusion, the government, as well as individuals, need to take the obligation of healthcare to ensure comprehensive development of society.
