Respective

(1) "The United States and the Soviet Union were the respective standard-bearers of the Capitalist and the Socialist camps."

(2) "The United States and the Soviet Union were the standard-bearers of the Capitalist and the Socialist camps, respectively."

(3) "The United States and the Soviet Union were the standard-bearers of the respective camps."

Are all these examples valid?
