Energy resources or energy sources? whats the different between these two?

Source: is a place, thing or person that provides us what we are looking for. Ex. I cannot reveal my sources- I cannot reveal who provided me with the information.

A battery is an example of a source of energy, but not a resource. We don't dig mines to extract batteries.
