Resignation notice

I want to resign from my current company because they didn’t pay my salary for the past 6 months ago. How to ask them to pay my salary?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Resignation Notice

I hereby wish to tender my resignation as Engineer for ABC Corporation with effect from 9 January 2007.

As per the required 1 month advance notice I would appreciate if you could inform me on my last working day after having deducted my annual leave entitlement.

I am very appreciated if you can disburse the outstanding payment for my salary since August last year.

I wish to thank the company and staffs for all the opportunities provided in my professional and career development during my tenure.

Sincerely,

myname

Thanks feeb11 for your prompt reply. I did some changes to the draft, is it acceptable or anything else i should add. About tax, I'm not really sure about that. But they also didn't paid for my other fund and I can sue them for that. Actually, they have to pay 23% from my total salary to that fund so I can use it when i retire.

Even though you are angry, it does no harm to thank them for the opportunities to learn that you have had. I would not say "understanding" - they clearly are not.

Also, if this is a serious situation, it would be wise to get professional legal advice, particularly about ensuring you have all the necessary paperwork you might need in order to get a new job.

Thanks for your advice. So, you prefer the first one.

Btw, I’m not really worried about to getting a new job because I already have it and will be started soon. What is the most important now is to get all my money back.

In your part of the world, is it possible to say that you will bring an action against them if they do not pay you your full back salary?
