Could you please tell me which sentence sounds more natural?

1) Please make a reservation by the day 3:00PM before the event

2)Please make a reservation by 3:00 pm of one day before the event.

Make your reservation by 3 p.m. the day prior/before to the event.

You can use 3 or 3:00.
You can use pm, p.m., or PM.
Pick one style, though. Don't write 3:00 PM in one sentence and then 7 pm in the next one.
